The benefits of community gardens are numerous. Not only is it a nice place to grow vegetables, fruits, and herbs, but a community garden also fosters community growth. It helps reduce the food costs of families involved because some of their food is coming from a natural food source instead of a supermarket. Community gardens also make the neighborhood more attractive as well. Community gardens could be viewed as a symbol of community involvement.
